Caring Canines Therapy Dogs, Inc - Orientations and Evaluations
The
orientation is the first step toward
becoming a member of Comfort Caring Canines. You will learn what
therapy dog work is all about and the requirements needed to
become a member. Please read the entire Join
Us web page. Do not bring your dog to the orientation.
If you have an obedience certificate, please
bring a COPY to the orientation so we can verify that your course
meets our requirements (see Join Us
page for details). If you don't have one, you can still attend
the orientation.
If you've attended the orientation, the two visits with members, and your dog has passed basic obedience, then you're ready for the evaluation. If you would like to attend the next evaluation or are a current member and would like to test a new dog please contact VJABiscuit@verizon.net to reserve your spot NOW. Space is limited. Evaluators - please e-mail Vickie if you want to help out.
Usually orientations and evaluations are offered three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). As dates are scheduled for these events, they will be posted to this web site. For a most up to date listing, please check this events page periodically.

Members and their therapy dogs had a very special fall meeting this year. About a dozen CCC dogs visited the nursing home across the street. The residents had a great time with our dogs. Check out the pics. Afterwards, lunch and laughs with fellow members.
